At Culture Forum North we recognise that these are challenging and uncertain times. We hope that you and your families, friends and colleagues are keeping safe and well.
Like many of you we are continuing to support our community remotely, alongside the immediate need to look after the health and well-being of our loved ones and ourselves. Understandably communication from us may be more intermittent, but we will endeavour to share relevant information as promptly as we can. Please follow us on Twitter to keep up to date @CultureForumNrt.
For up-to-date information relating to the education sector we recommend that you monitor Government notifications, national media and the websites and social media of further and higher education bodies and institutions.
For up-to-date information relating to the cultural sector, including information on support for freelance, self-employed workers and small businesses and guidance from funding bodies we recommend that you monitor Government notifications (particularly this page https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus), visit the Arts Council England’s designated Covid19 page (https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/covid19) and the websites and social media of the other Trusts, Foundations and Funding Bodies known to you. We will watch out for hardship funds and any other available funding options and share these with our community on social media.
Supporting each other during this challenging period is essential. We would like to highlight the importance of collaboration and cultural partnerships in responding to the crisis. Your stories will inspire others and help to build a picture of the impact of collaborative action and support. Follow these stories on our website and Twitter @CultureForumNrt using #culturalpartnership.
In June we will start a new series of discussion forums for CFN members. The first of these will focus on how we can work together to support those graduating from creative courses in 2020. Outputs from these will be shared on our website.
